Terms & Conditions
Please read the terms and conditions that regulate access to the Europuntos Program of Eurobuilding Hotels, whether by its online registry or by physical registration with a form.
Only those over eighteen (18) years of age can participate in the program, and are entitled to only one (1) Europuntos membership card, whether by registration on the website www.europuntos.com, at the front desk of our partner hotels, or through the Europuntos Customer Service Center +58 800-EURORES (3876737). The member listed on the card is the only one allowed to use it. Joining the program is free. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your personal information, such as passwords and access to accounts. You will be held financially responsible for any use of the SITE made by yourself or on your behalf that uses your password and access information. The SITE can only be used for booking and legitimate purchases. Use is prohibited for: false, fraudulent or speculative bookings; bookings prior to a lawsuit; to publish or transmit any type of illegal, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, indecent, controversial, pornographic, or blasphemous material, or any material that can constitute or promote any criminal conduct or infringe the law. We reserve the right to restrict full or partial the access to the SITE, at any moment and without previous notification or responsibility.
The member will only earn points for the price of the room (tax not included) and for a maximum of two (2) rooms per stay, beginning the date of registration in the program; booking must be made under the member’s name. Points will not be generated for any extra costs. To enjoy the program’s benefits and earn points, members are required to show their Europuntos card. The member will earn twenty (20) points for each dollar spent on eligible room rates in all our hotels.
Points will not be earned if the room was booked through online travel channel or other third-party channel. Points will not be earned for special rates for groups, crewmembers, free night certificates, tourist packages, long stays, certain negotiated rates and any other considered not eligible. Accumulated points do not have monetary value, therefore they cannot be exchanged for cash or any form of credit. The user of the program accepts that the system can take up to ten (10) working days to post the points information to the account.
We reserve the right to deduct points that have been erroneously credited to a member’s account without previous notification. If a member believes that the points posted in their account are inaccurate, notification must be made no later than sixty (60) continuous days after checkout; if the claim is legitimate, contact us through our customer service center and request an adjustment for the corresponding points. The website has a Missing Points Request form that must be included along with the hotel bill to request the credit of the missing points. If the bill cannot be included, print the form and send both documents via email.
REDEEMING POINTS FOR NIGHTS AND UPGRADES
The member that wishes to redeem points for nights will have to book previously through the customer service center +58 800 EURORES (3876737) or the website www.europuntos.com for a maximum of two (2) rooms per stay. Once the booking is complete, the member will receive confirmation via email. Presentation of the booking confirmation is mandatory during check-in at one of our partner hotels. In the event that the booking is not cancelled 24 hours in advance and the member does not show up, points will be debited from the account equivalent to a one night stay. The member cannot modify bookings after check-in, if the member needs to shorten their stay, the points equivalent to the remaining nights will be deducted. If the member needs to extend their stay using points, they must process a new booking through the aforementioned website or the customer service center, a minimum of 24 hours in advance. Points can also be exchanged for “upgrades” at any of the partner hotels with a previous request and subject to availability. Upgrades will not be accepted through the exchange of points without a previous booking.
The Europuntos program recommends advance booking, since it has a specific number of rooms assigned for rewards during high season.
REDEEMING POINTS FOR AIRLINE TICKETS
The member that wishes to use points to redeem airline tickets within the Venezuelan territory will have to contact the customer service center at +58 800-EURORES (3876737) or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The ticket will be issued through the agency Prime Travel and the amount of points necessary to get the airline ticket will be informed at the moment of the request. The ticketing will be subject to availability within the requested dates, therefore it is not guaranteed by Europuntos.
In case of no show, the ticket cannot be used for future dates and points will not be refunded.
EXCHANGE AND REFUND POLICIES
Initially the program has an indefinite duration, nevertheless, Europuntos C.A, reserves the right to modify or terminate totally or partially, the program’s regulations, rules, privileges, benefits and special offers, when considered necessary and at any time. If for any reason the program is eliminated, the points will be immediately cancelled, without right to compensation. Europuntos C.A. will do their best to notify all members of any important changes in the program.
The rewards structure is subject to the company’s criteria and can be subject to changes, cancellations or limitations; the points necessary for a reward can also increase, with or without previous notification.
Points accumulated in accounts inactive for more than eighteen (18) months will be cancelled, understanding that an account is considered inactive when there is no point generation for hotel stays or there is no use of points at any of the partner hotels for over one (1) year and six (6) months. The program reserves the right to cancel a member’s card which in the company’s judgment has violated the terms and conditions, engaged in fraud, abused or violated the benefits, points credits, use of rewards or any other program regulations. We will also terminate the account and any future participation of the member in the program.
ACCOUNT STATEMENT AND INFORMATION UPDATE
The member can check their account balance, last statement, and update contact information and communication preferences via the webpage www.europuntos.com. To login, you will need your Europuntos membership number or email address and password. Any changes or information requests can be made through our customer service center +58 800-EURORES (3876737)
PRIVACY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
In all matters not covered by these general conditions, the provisions of the Law on Data Messages and Electronic Signatures will be applied, as well as the Special Law against Cybernetic Crime or any related law of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
In addition to the liability exemption provided in other clauses of the general conditions; Europuntos C.A., or any of the partner hotels, do not guarantee nor are they responsible for any direct or indirect damage related to:
The use by third parties (not a bank) of personal information provided by the user decoded by computer systems.
Damage of the user´s equipment and programs by the possible contamination of a computer virus.
The interruption or suspension of the website’s access, due to maintenance, system failure, electrical failure, failure of telephone service, for technical reasons, or due to any other cause.
Delays, deficiency or impossibility to access the webpage for reasons outside of Europuntos C.A.’s control.
SUPERIOR CATEGORIES OF THE EUROPUNTOS PROGRAM
The “Platinum” category will be awarded to members that stay in rooms with eligible rates for over eighteen (18) nights during one (1) calendar year. The category will be valid for one (1) calendar year only. To renew the “platinum” category, the member will have to complete the requirements each year. The members in the “platinum” category have room availability guaranteed as long as the booking is made through the reservations center of the hotel, with the exemption of special events, when the demand for rooms increases. During these occasions, the booking must be guaranteed with a valid credit card that will also serve as a room guarantee. In case of no show and no booking cancellation before 2:00 p.m. of the same day, a debit against the credit card will be made for the equivalent of one (1) night’s stay for “NO SHOW”.
This is the most exclusive category in the program and it offers additional privileges and benefits. The “Black” category will be awarded to members that stay in rooms with eligible rates for over fifty (50) nights during one (1) calendar year. The category will be valid for one (1) calendar year only. To renew the “Black” category, the member will have to complete the requirements each year.
The members in the “black category” have room availability guaranteed for up to forty-eight (48) hours in advance as long as the booking is made through the reservations center of the hotel, with the exemption of special events, when the demand for rooms increases. During these occasions, the booking must be guaranteed with a valid credit card that will also serve as room guarantee. If there is need to modify or cancel the booking, the program administrator must be notified before 6:00 p.m. of the day of arrival, if there is no show a debit against the credit card will be made for the equivalent of one (1) night’s stay. During check-in the members of the “Black” category will be offered, according to availability, a room upgrade. The room upgrade is not applicable for bookings made with points.
THE PRESENT CONDITIONS ARE GOVERNED AND INTERPRETED ACCORDING TO THE LEGISLATION OF THE BOLIVARIAN REPUBLIC OF VENEZUELA.
Unless indicated otherwise, the material of this SITE is only for informational purposes. Europuntos does not state that the material is appropriate or usable in other places. If the SITE is used in other places, you are responsible for compliance with the applicable local legislation. If any of these conditions are illegal, null or unenforceable, it will be considered dissociable and will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining dispositions. Any evidence of the use of the SITE for illegal purposes will be delivered to the authorities.
